Thinking Positively... Doesn't Work
“Can you accept the notion that once you change your internal state, you don’t need the external world to provide you with a reason to feel joy, gratitude, appreciation, or any other elevated emotion?” - Dr Joe Dispenza
You don't need to wait for some mystical force or some magical moment before you do something new.
90% of the thoughts that we think are the same thoughts as the day before. If you think that your thoughts have something to do with your destiny, then your life should stay the same as the same thoughts lead to the same choices and behaviors. These in turn will produce the same experiences and the same emotions, which influence the way you think.
Our very neurocircuitry, our gene expression and our hormones - our entire biological systems are influenced by how we think, how we act and how we feel.
Your personality, which is shaped by your thoughts, creates your own personal reality. Once you become aware of your thoughts and begin to change them from the ground up, only then will your life begin to change.
Your unconscious behaviors and habits - how you speak, how you carry yourself, the way you behave by yourself and around other people, the emotions you live with every day - they all need to change if you want to create a new life.
You can't create a new life as the same person - you have to become aware of what you're doing and how you're doing it and then change it consciously, which will in turn shape your unconscious processes and ultimately reprogram your brain to become whoever you want to be.
You could fall dead right now.
Please be conscious of this – not to create fear, not to create paranoia, just to know the reality that we all live in.
If you know, "I am truly mortal and my time is so limited and I don't know when I'll die," - if you are aware that you are mortal, you will have no time to be angry, you'll have no time to quarrel with anybody, you'll have no time to do anything that doesn't really matter to you. You will do only what you truly care for in your life, if you are conscious of your mortality.
Before you go to bed, sit on your bed and think that you are lying in your deathbed, and you only have one more minute to live. Just look back and see, what you have done today, is it worthwhile? Just do this one simple exercise.
You won't know when it will really happen, whether you'll be sitting on your deathbed or lying in a hospital, who knows how it'll happen?
Your time here is limited. Do this long enough, and you'll live a worthwhile life.
